I’m coming out of my funk today. My manuscript didn’t advance in the ABNA competition, and while I completely understand why and expected this result, I couldn’t help but get my hopes up a little. And any getting up of hopes is often too high. My manuscript continues to be revised and polished, even though [...] The Elizabeth Lyon book on revision is all finished. I meticulously took notes – pages and pages of them – and looked everything over today. Now that the book is done, it’s time to start the actual revision. I’ve learned so much, and there are many changes I want to make, so it feels somewhat [...] It’s been a crazy week. I’ve been caught up getting my manuscript ready to enter in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Contest.
