I’m in the middle of some pretty good changes right now. Some things that I’m implementing, some things that are just happening. Edward will be five years old tomorrow. My second child, the one I thought I’d never have, and then thought I would lose – five years old! His pre-K class went to see [...] The Elizabeth Lyon book on revision is all finished. I meticulously took notes – pages and pages of them – and looked everything over today. Now that the book is done, it’s time to start the actual revision. I’ve learned so much, and there are many changes I want to make, so it feels somewhat [...] Hey, you’ll never guess what I’m reading: Manuscript Makeover by Elizabeth Lyon. Still! I’m on the last chapter and I vow to finish it tonight. Lately I’ve been reading about scenes and I’m adopting a new mantra: Make It Worse.
